This is one of my favorite film photographs that I took. I shot this in Quiapo when I was shooting for an NGO based in the USA.  Too bad the film developers in Quiapo did a poor job on this photo, but then again, I think it did add something to the photo. Whatchatink?  I shot this with a Nikon FA given to me by my uncle.  It was technically my first camera.
The old woman was talking to me about something then she showed me her card.  I just couldn’t remember what she was talking about.  Ahhhh.. I think it was about her age and being a senior citizen.

Been shooting at Talisay Batangas lately with my good friend and mentor Tony Santos.  I shot this when I tried to copy Film Photographer and Lecturer Rad Basa’s technique of shooting from the hip.  It was pretty sunny then, so it over powered my LCD screen, hence it was only when I got back when I saw that I took a pretty good picture.  I think that this is a good scene for me.

I have been taking photos since 2006.  Mostly self taught, I started shooting bands and friends.  Over time, I was able to find myself shooting for publications (online and offline magazines and broadsheets, ) and pr/event coverage accounts.
I am currently using a Nikon D70s with 18-70mm kit lens, a 50mm 1.8 (which was a bday/christmas gift), an old 80-200 2.8 a friend lent me and a 2nd hand SB800 flash unit which I got from a friend for P6,000.
